To qualify for the Growers Captive Group, businesses must meet the following criteria:
- Business Type: Must be in the agricultural sector, such as nurseries, orchards, vineyards, or other eligible classes.
- Loss History: Must demonstrate a loss ratio of 50% or better over the past five years.
- Experience: Minimum of five years in business with a commitment to strong safety practices.
- Premium: Minimum annual premium of $200,000.
- Participation: Active involvement in program governance is required.
- Financial Stability: Must pass a financial assessment and meet program safety and quality standards.
