The Restaurant Franchise Captive Program (RFCP) is a Group Captive designed to give best-in-class franchisees, franchisors, and independent restaurant operators the ability to Turn Premium into Profitâ„¢. Now in its 21st year, the program continues to offer an alternative to traditional insurance, having returned more than $30 million to its members.

Coverages

The RFCP provides comprehensive insurance coverage tailored for the restaurant industry, particularly focusing on property insurance.

Coverage is available in all 50 states, ensuring nationwide protection for your restaurant operations.

Coverage Eligibility

To qualify for the RFCP, businesses must:

  • Operate as a restaurant (franchisee, franchisor, or independent)
  • Meet safety and maintenance standards
  • Meet a $300,000 minimum premium
  • Alcohol sales less than 25% of gross sales
  • Delivery less than 10% of gross sales
  • Restaurants with entertainment services are excluded

Members may also choose to participate in program governance through the Board of Managers and subcommittees, providing greater control over insurance management and costs.
